In 2008 Sarah began Windland Fields that was a company selling plants at farmers markets throughout the twin cities area. In that first season there were so many people interested in garden maintenance it slowly became a garden maintenance, container installation and garden designs & installation company. Sarah graduated from the University of Minnesota with a bachelor of Science in horticulture in 2010 and kept expanding Windland Fields.
Windland Fields as a company is where we are today because of our hardworking employees!
Our goal and focus as a company is that gardens are maintained and designed the way our clients envision them. If that means an elaborate landscape design and detailed weeding or low maintenance plant installation they want to maintain themselves we will design it and install it.
We also design with plant focused mind set so gardens can have interest and color and different flowering plants throughout the year.

Spring clean up
We come in the spring to spruce up your yard. We'll cut down the perennials left up for winter interest and get it looking fresh.
Mulch / Horse compost
If you need 3 yards or 30, we will deliver and spread it. Composted horse manure is great alternative to mulch and adds lots of nutrients to the ground as well.
General maintenance
We will come and weed and maintain your garden and landscape, once a week, bi-weekly, or monthly.

Fall cutdown
We will remove all annuals and cut down the necessary perennials in preparation for the winter.
Seasonal containers
We will plant custom containers for spring, summer, fall or winter. Adding a great, eye-catching focal point to any season.
Garden design
If you need your garden revamped or built from the ground up, we can do it!
